MR. IVAN IVANOV IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF BWA
BWA held its regular General Assembly on 23rd February 2012. As many as 111 individual members (out of 190) and 56 corporate members (out of 77) were registered for the assembly. Totally 167 members, out of 267, took part in the meeting.
The delegates heard out the report of the Governing Board for 2011 presented by Prof. Roumen Arsov, President of BWA as well the report of the Control Committee presented by Angel Prestoyski, chairman of the Committee. Afterwards, they approved the programme for the activities of BWA for 2012.
The Assembly elected new governing bodies of BWA. Mr. Ivan Ivanov, MEng, former procurator of the Sofia water utility Sofiyska Voda JSC and so far vice president of BWA was elected President of BWA. Four vice presidents were elected – Dr. Eng. Atanas Paskalev, Eng. Blagoy Kozarev, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Borislav Velikov and Eng. Gancho Tenev.
The new Governing Board, elected for a period of 2 years, has 19 members, as follows:
